This is a nice mare. She is very friendly. Lady has had all the ground work and about 5 rides on her. Due to an old injury to a hind ankle she did not stay sound when being rode. She was not finished being broke, but she has a good mind and learns quickly. With her breeding she makes a nice broodmare. We have four foals out of Lady and her 2004 filly "Lass" is coming along nicely in her training. She is very smart and catty. Her 2005 Stud Colt "Woody" is very gentle and a real ham. 2007 filly "Sugar" may be the best one yet! Bay Roan stud colt born 5-6-08 by Red Bavarian Hancock. On 5-13-08 on our daily check, Lady's colt Tucker was found in the pasture with a severe breathing problem, despite all our effots he died on 5-14-08. Sorrel Stud Colt born 5-21-09 by RW Wily Son Fourwood. Lady exposed to RW Wily Son Fourwood for a 2010 foal. |
